"There are now 400 lobbyists in Washington for every Senator! Forty-two percent of the members of the House of Representatives are lawyers, compared to only 15% in an 18-country average outside the United States. Each of these lawyers and lobbyists are trying to influence the creation or enforcement of laws to serve the vested interests they represent." - pg 39

"...the subject of the spirit has, unfortunately, been virtually suppressed out of existence by various vested interests who require that man be spiritually inactive and unaware; e.g., police, politicians and priests. "What would happen if you could safely communicate with everything and everyone? Political, religious and financial vested interests, typically, do not want people to answer this question. The reason is simple: if you could safely communicate with anyone or anything, they would be out of business!" - pg 38

"All human beings have flesh bodies. Flesh bodies require food, shelter, clothing and as many other goods and creature comforts as one can buy, borrow or pillage. It is also a source of illogical thinking which has tended to clog the water mains of our minds with all manner of unspeakable refuse—it is our vested interest in survival." - pg. 38

"Before you believe what you read in the newspaper do you determine the name of the reporter and the editor who dreamed up the story? Do you take a minute to figure out what their vested interest might be in writing the story?" - pg 47

"Animals, not having the same vested interests or social agreements which influence people, often have a very direct, uncomplicated view of human behavior. This exterior viewpoint to the human condition can be very refreshing and therapeutic when shared between humans and animals." - pg. 143

"1) Imagine an elephant in your mind. 2) Who is looking at that elephant?
Obviously, the “who” looking at the elephant you created in your mind is you. You operate a body and use your mind. Your mind is not your brain, in spite of what certain
vested interests, especially drug-pushing psychiatrists, would like you to believe." - pg. 157

"Just as modern Western intelligence agencies have controlled knowledge to protect their special vested interests over the last thousand years, so did the priests of ancient Egypt." - pg 262

"Wicked Witches cannot cover-up their crimes unless we agree not to look! Wizards can not protect the hidden vested interests they are working for—unless we agree to let them get away with it!" - pg 410
